Time Out is our, monthly youth magazine and is one of IPK's
greatest accomplishments since the organization opened its doors
in 2003. The first issue was published in November 2003.
The process of Time
Out consists of several steps:
-Defining editorial line, writing articles, correction and translation
of the first articles, translation in Macedonian and in Albanian
language, designing and finally printing. Time Out has a group
of 25 active and 50 journalists in total who are responsible
for the writing of articles, taking pictures and for the distribution
of the magazine to it's final destination: the 4 High schools
in Kumanovo and in Lipkovo . The Time Out journalists are guided
under the professional hand of the team behind the Time Out
which consists of: project coordinator, editor in chief, technical
editor, designer and translators.
The unique thing about
Time Out is that it is not just the writing of articles which
is important. The most important things is that the redaction
which is placed in IPK office is a place where our young journalists
meet on a daily basis, exchange experiences, cooperate on writing
of article and make friends in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
IPK is proud to announce that Time Out is and has been the engine
of IPK where many new ideas and projects are born that offer
solution and possibilities for the young to prove themselves.
This unique, youth-guided approach is the primary reason why
the Time Out magazine is so popular among all the young people
in the Kumanovo and Lipkovo area, and as a result, 2,900 copies
of the magazine (1,800 in Macedonian and 1,100 in Albanian)
are distributed in all of the 8 local secondary schools on a
monthly basis.
Time Out journalists
receive every year a training on journalist skills so they can
get professional knowledge on what is needed to be a journalist.
They also attended photography course.
Time Out magazine is
always looking for new volunteers who are willing to take the
challenge to produce an attractive magazine each month. If you
